Dr. Karna T. Sura obtained his undergraduate degree in biologic sciences at Drexel University. He completed his medical training at Drexel University College of Medicine in 2013. He completed a preliminary transitional year internship at Oakland University / William Beaumont School of Medicine in 2014. As a radiation oncology resident, he has performed his research in multiple areas including thoracic malignancies and quality of life, and he received the Young Oncologist Essay Award at the 100th ARS Annual Meeting. He is actively involved in resident education with positions in both ARRO and ACRO. Karna is currently a PGY-4 radiation oncology resident at Oakland University / William Beaumont School of Medicine in Royal Oak, MI.
