Jonathan Leeman

leeman-1Jonathan Leeman received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University with a concentration in
molecular biology. He then attended the physician scientist training program (PSTP) at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where he helped to develop a novel ultrasound based technique for dissolving blood clots as a treatment for heart attack and stroke. From there, he completed a transitional year internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City where he is currently a PGY-4 resident in the department of Radiation Oncology. His research interests include understanding the effects of radiation on cardiovascular health, novel imaging methods for characterizing radiation response and the molecular mechanisms of radiosensitivity in HPV related tumors. He currently heads the GROW scholarship and Scientific Program section of the ACRO Resident Committee.
