Resident Education Grant Applications Due Tomorrow (Nov 15)

Posted on
The American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO) Resident Committee is acutely aware of the benefit that monetary support for small projects can provide.
Given that educational projects can be particularly hard to fund through standard research mechanisms, the Resident Committee provides 2 educational grants annually to fund small but worthwhile projects.
ACRO will provide two $2,000 grants for radiation oncology residents. Of this $2,000 that is awarded, $1000 will be appropriated towards funding the research project, and $1000 will be awarded 3 months later in a second installment for the project, or can be used to travel to the subsequent ACRO annual meeting.
Recipients must either present at the ACRO Annual Meeting or submit an interim report to the Resident Committee by the time of the meeting. Award recipients are strongly encouraged to submit their project for presentation at The Radiation Oncology Summitt: ACRO 2018.
