Welcome

This is ACRO's new resident forum (American College of Radiation Oncology (external link)). There's a lot here, but we're starting simple. Register yourself, then head on over to the forums to jump in. Or, if you like, you can edit the wiki. Add anything you think would be of general interest to radiation oncology residents. We're not interested in reinventing the wheel, so if you know of any great web resources, make sure it is listed here.

This site is the product of a process that's been happening for a couple years. After several listserv iterations, the Resident Committee decided that an online forum with more opportunity for interaction and sharing resources would be better than the listserv we had been using, and this is the result.

What's here

This site is new, so things are still shaking out. Here are some of the things you'll find:
  1. The forum (external link) is a place for residents to discuss everything from journal articles to tips on finding housing at meetings.

  2. The galleries will be a growing source of field designs. There's a lot of variability around the country, so share what you do at your institution (do not post any protected health information without permission).

  3. Other files you can access include the ACRO resident scholarship application and the ACRO Resident Committee application (external link). Add documents you think are of interest to other residents.

  4. What else would you like to see here? The idea is that this site is run for residents by residents, and anyone can contribute what you think would be helpful. If you aren't familiar with editing a wiki, here are some tips.

Please be professional in all your interactions on the site. We are a small group of radiation oncology residents and we will be interacting throughout our careers, so be courteous and thoughtful of your peers.
